Drawing off of the rich history of coffee shops being the seat of societal discourse, Six Depot was designed as a space where friends and strangers find connection and common ground.
Six Depot was featured in Gardenista and invited to be in Remodelista. Six Depot won “Best Coffee Shop in New England” at least six years running as well as numerous other awards and accolades.
The simple yet elegantly proportioned raw wood and steel shelves are emblematic of the pure and refined approach they have to roasting their coffee and assorted other fine products
Inferring the elegance of cove molding, the steel counter base is topped with salvaged slate chaulk board
Indigo black hand-made plaster backdrops the burnt, limed pine tables and iconic canopy lights in steel and silk
Iconic steel and silk lights offer a sense of canopy bringing a more human scale while still having the uplifting feeling of the high ceiling and skylight
A seating cubby offers a more private space for romance and gossip. Fur seat, backgammon and checkers table
